mid 19th century, measuring approximately 14 3/4in. x 7 3/4in. x 2 1/2in. externally, ten screws to the lid and a vacant coin-edged brass escutcheon, the interior lined and compartmented in its original green baize and containing a mahogany cleaning or loading rod, an oil bottle, a double cavity scissors bullet mould signed 'REILLY, OXFORD ST. LONDON', a tin for lubricated patches and another for caps, a nipple key and a James Dixon copper bag-shaped flask, no case key
